How To Use Batiste Dry Shampoo

Batiste dry shampoo is extremely quick and simple to use.

Just shake the can vigorously before use. Separate your hair into sections and then holding the can 30cms away from your hair, spray the dry shampoo into the roots in quick, short sprays.

Leave for a few minutes and then massage through. Brush out any excess residue. For extra body and texture don’t brush it out.

Dry Shampoo Tips And Tricks

• Only apply Batiste dry shampoo to dry hair.
• Don’t spray Batiste dry shampoo too close to your head as this will result in too much product build up and prevent it from being evenly distributed.
• Less is more. Too much dry shampoo can make your hair look dull. You can always apply more dry shampoo as needed.
• Only spray dry shampoo onto the roots of your hair. Slide a finger through your hair to lift a section of it to allow easy access to spray the roots. Repeat in sections moving down from the top of your scalp.
• For extra volume put your hair upside down to spray dry shampoo on the roots.
• Don’t massage dry shampoo through your hair immediately after spraying it on. Leave it for a few minutes to enable it to fully soak up the oil and grease, then massage it through with your fingertips.
• Dry shampoo lengthens the time between hair washes but it doesn’t replace the need to wash your hair with water. Dry shampoo will absorb the excess oil but it doesn’t rid your hair of dirt. I’d recommend using dry shampoo no more than two to three days max in a row. Then it’s definitely time for a wash.
• Spraying a small amount of dry shampoo to your hair’s roots at night before going to bed allows the product to work overnight absorbing any excess oil and sweat. Your hair will look fresher in the morning.
• Spraying your hair with dry shampoo and then rolling it into a bun or twisting it up overnight will give your hair a sexy tousled, beach wave look in the morning.
• If you want a blow dry to last, spray after styling and it will last one to two days longer.
• Don’t stress if you can see some white residue in your hair immediately after spraying. Leave it for a couple of minutes to absorb the excess oil and then brush or comb through any visible residue.
• One of my favourite dry shampoo hacks is to spray a bit of dry shampoo onto the inside of my hair clips and bobby pins to give them a better grip.
• If your hair is like mine and doesn’t hold a curl very well, spray your hair with dry shampoo before curling for a long lasting hold and style. This works amazingly!
