beautyheaven's 10th Birthday Celebration!

Hip hip hooray! Break out the bubbles and cake beautyheaven has now turned 10!

And in true beautyheaven style it generously hosted a massive party in The Ivy’s Sun Room inviting 100+ lucky beauty loving members, including me, along to celebrate!

The party embodied everything that for me represents beautyheaven.

It was a magical party full of friendly, inclusive and supportive beautyheaven staff and members.

It was fun!

It was informative!

Exactly like the beautyheaven website!

BeautyHeaven 10th Birthday Celebration Cake

No doubt most of you are all familiar with beautyheaven but for those few of you that aren’t, beautyheaven is an amazing go-to Australian beauty website containing Australia’s most extensive beauty review database.

It is my go-to destination for all things beauty related.

Whenever I’m tossing up between two beauty products from different brands and can’t decide which one to buy I check out the reviews for both products on beautyheaven to help me make up my mind which one to buy.

All reviews are written by other beautyheaven members.

Beautyheaven also hosts the most wonderful and supportive community of beauty lovers with loads of forums to discuss anything and everything beauty related.

The beautyheaven 10th Birthday Celebration Party was set up like a marketplace.

After time for mingling and meeting up with other beautyheaven members some of whom I’d only previously met online we were broken up into 8 groups to progress through 8 different brands’ stalls which I will list below.

Justice Professional

Justice Professional is the range of salon quality, paraben free haircare and styling products made by Just Cuts.

At this stall we were introduced to the range of Justice Professional products and some lucky members had products demonstrated on their hair.

We all received one full sized product from their range. I look forward to trying the Sea Salt Spray I received.

Beauty By Nicholas

The next stall we visited was an exciting one for me as Beauty By Nicholas is a new brand that was only launched in May this year.

This brand aims to provide multi-functional skin care solutions using the best dermatological techniques and cutting edge formulation technology.

The products we sampled on the day felt amazing and I’m looking forward to fully trialing the Foundation No More and the Eye Alchemy products we were gifted with to take home.

We Vibe

Our next stall was behind closed doors. It was the adult toy We Vibe / Fun Factory stall.

Yes we were gifted a sample. See if you can spot it in the goodie bag photo at the end of this post!

Nutrimetics

The prettiest stall of the day belonged to Nutrimetics!

Just look how stunning their floral display was!

Plus the packaging of their new season’s scented soaps and hand cream treats plus the watercolour tote bag is so gorgeous!

These would be the perfect Christmas gift for your child’s teachers and your work colleagues.

Also at the Nutrimetics stall we were introduced to their top of the range Ultra Care+ Platinum Intense Skincare Programme.

This is an 8 week powerful skin boosting system of four different concentrates. It consists of four serums for detox, anti-age, anti-pigmentation & firming!

This is exactly what my skin needs! It sounds amazing!

We also sampled the Nutrimetics Ultra Care+ Platinum Youthful Beauty Supplement, a collagen booster.

Drinking this supplement each day makes good sense if you want better skin as our skin is made up of 75% collagen and we lose 1% of collagen in our skin each year after the age of 20 so anything I can do to boost the amount of collagen in my skin is a winning treatment for me!

MAC Cosmetics

I was excited to see MAC Cosmetics at BeautyHeaven’s Birthday celebration.

MAC were showcasing their Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours!

We were able to chose one colour to have applied to our lips and I let the makeup artist chose the colour for me so I wouldn’t choose a shade similar to the ones I normally choose.

OMG the shade she chose for me was so stunning! It was called ‘OH, LADY’ and was a vivid deep wine shade. No wonder I loved it!

I’m off to the shops tomorrow to purchase this shade for myself. I NEED it in my life pronto!

We also received a MAC Cosmetics Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in our goodie bags. I received the shade ‘Flesh Stone’.

Clinique

The lovely Clinique team colour matched us to our shade of Even Better Glow Foundation.

Given the comprehensive shade range I suspect there would be a shade to suit everyone in this range.

I love being colour matched by an expert as I always find it a bit tricky to determine the best shade for my skin on my own!

We were given a sample pot of this foundation to trial at home.

We were also super lucky to receive the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm in our goodie bag which I have heard so many brilliant reviews of! I can’t wait to use it!

Estee Lauder

At the Estee Lauder stall we had the benefits of the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II explained and demonstrated to us.

We were also colour matched for the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Makeup and provided with a sample to take home.

I was super excited to receive an Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Powerful Mask in my goodie bag. I can’t wait to try it!

Plunkett’s Skin Care

At this stall we were introduced to the new Working Hands cream which is a natural hand cream which repairs and protects and is specially formulated for hard working hands.

It would be perfect for tradies who work with their hands as well as people who are required to constantly be washing their hands.

This cream absorbed into my hands so quickly and my hands felt instantly softer!

We received a full sized tube of this product and more!
