Bobbi Brown has always crushed lip products! They are one of my absolute favourite lip product brands. I have previously reviewed (and loved) the Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color lipsticks HERE and also reviewed quite a few other Bobbi Brown products HERE. As a result I was super excited when I heard they had released a new lip range, the Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss.

Bobbi Brown describes this latest release as “lip-quenching moisture meets super-smooth shine” and in my opinion this is a very accurate description.

Having received four shades from this new range, here’s my Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss review of these new lip products for you.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss Swatches

Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused glosses are beautifully sheer and translucent-like as you can see from the swatches below. The darker shades do have a bit more pigment but they do all still have that sheer, pretty, translucent and flattering quality to them.

The swatches below include clockwise from the top:

  • After Party
  • Freestyle
  • Slow Jam, &
  • Sweet Talk.

Slow Jam is my favourite and the most flattering on my skin’s colouring.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss Review

These Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Lip glosses are a hybrid lip gloss and lip oil, although I’d say more leaning towards a lip gloss than a lip oil. They have a thinner formula than your typical heavier lip glosses yet still result in a beautiful shine and sheer pop of colour which lasts between three to four hours on my lips. Towards the end of this time the shine does lessen a bit.

I found the oil-infused gloss to feel more lightweight on my lips than most of my other lip glosses, super comfortable and they are wonderfully non-sticky. They are easy to apply and glide on smoothly.

The ingredients include a blend of nutrient-rich botanicals including coffee seed and kukui nut oils which is probably why this lip gloss feels so nourishing and conditioning on the lips.

It should also be noted the things these glosses DO NOT contain. They are free of parabens, phthalates, gluten, sulfites, talc, mineral oil and animal derived products.

Overall these oil-infused lip glosses are almost like a treatment gloss as they feel ultra hydrating and nourishing on the lips in addition to creating a beautiful shine. In my opinion they’re the perfect lip gloss for everyday wear and I’ve been wearing these four on high rotation since receiving them. I must admit I am slightly obsessed with them!

  1. I used to love products like this. Since my oral cancer surgeries even though I want to keep a lipstick on, it’s a challenge. Recently I bought a ‘cheap’ green lipstick and it works for me for the morning. My lips are incredibly dry so I go through a lot of creams, usuals like vaseline etc. I feel and look better with some colour on my lips which is why i am delighted to have found something.
