I love the indulgence of a new high end luxurious lipstick. There’s just something so special about them that elevates my confidence and mood no matter what else is going on around me. So I was super excited to recently receive four stunning Bobbi Brown Luxe Matte Lip Colors to enable me to write this Bobbi Brown lipstick review for you.

Bobbi Brown Lipstick Review: Luxe Matte Lip Color Shades

The four shades I received included:

• True Pink – a soft neutral pink
• Mauve Over – a pale pink mauve
• Razzberry – a medium berry, &
• Red Carpet – a rich red.

Bobbi Brown True Pink

The Bobbi Brown True Pink is a lovely soft neutral pink.

Bobbi Brown Mauve Over

The Bobbi Brown Mauve Over is a pale pink mauve.

Yes, these shade choices do reveal my preference for soft pink shades, they are just so flattering on almost every skin tone, including mine.

Bobbi Brown Razzberry

Bobbi Brown Razzberry is a medium berry shade and my favourite everyday shade out of these four shades.

It is the second shade from the left in the photo below and it is the fully coloured in heart in the swatch photo earlier in this post.

Bobbi Brown Red Carpet

Bobbi Brown Red Carpet is a stunning rich red shade.

Although I tend to wear pink & berry shades during the working week, when I go out at night I love glamming up and adding a dash of stylish red lipstick.

Bobbi Brown Lipstick Review: Luxe Matte Lip Color Formula

The Bobbi Brown Luxe Matte Lip Color is a new take on the best selling Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color and has a first of its kind formula.

According to Bobbi Brown ‘this luxurious matte lipstick features pure matte powder pigments that deliver full coverage, a comfortable lightweight feel and 12 hour high impact color’.

I found this lipstick to apply easily, gliding smoothly across my lips.

It feels soft, silky and surprisingly creamy for a matte lipstick.

It has a gorgeous velvety matte finish which I find really flattering.

The formula is completely non-drying and does feel weightless. It is very comfortable to wear on my lips for the full day.

The pigment is strong and very long lasting. One thin coat achieves full coverage.

Impressively, all the Bobbi Brown Luxe Matte Lip Colors are:

• Phthalate free
• Sulfate free
• Sulfite free
• Mineral oil free &
• Gluten free.

Bobbi Brown Lipstick Review: Luxe Matte Lip Color Packaging

The packaging of these lipsticks is absolutely stunning!

Encased in a chic brushed gold case with a black band and the Bobbi Brown crest embossed on the end these lipsticks look and feel luxurious.

They have a good weight to them and snap shut securely so there is no worry about lost lids in makeup bags or handbags.
