Katy Perry x Covergirl Katy Kat Palettes

Katy Perry has just released the cutest limited edition Katy Kat palettes ever in collaboration with Covergirl as part of her Katy Kat Collection. She’s launched the Katy Kat Hot Kat Palette and the Katy Kat Cool Kat Palette.

OMG! Cat lovers beware! You will not be able to resist these palettes! They are so absolutely adorable!

These palettes remind me of the Katy Perry Purr fragrance and the Katy Perry Meow fragrance and their stunning cat shaped bottles.

All the Katy Perry fragrances have amazing and unique bottles. I have previously reviewed Katy Parry’s Mad Potion fragrance here.

Getting back to the palettes, both Katy Kat palettes contain 10 shades created to replicate Katy’s different looks, natural and dramatic!

The shades are broken up into two sets of five that can give you a complete look, although of course you can mix and match as you please.

The cuteness of these palettes comes from the gorgeous shimmery rose gold and coppery bronze shades being housed in an adorable cat shaped pan in the middle of each half of the palette, with a cat’s face embossed in the eyeshadow! How freakin’ cute is that!

Katy Kat Cool Kat Palette

The Katy Kat Cool Kat palette has the more adventurous shades of the two palettes with a frosty mint green and sapphire blue, soft shimmery pink and lavender, and that beautiful shimmery burgundy and olive green, and more! All the shades in this palette are shimmery to varying degrees.

There is a good mix of pastel shades and deeper hues to add dimension to your looks.

Heart breaking as it was to ruin the perfection of this palette by swatching the shades, especially the cat pan shades, it had to be done for your benefit dear readers so I could demonstrate to you the pigmentation of the shades!

I found all the shades to be super soft and there was a bit of fallout so do be gentle with these shades, but they are beautifully pigmented and blend easily.

Kool Kat Hot Kat Palette

The Kool Kat Hot Kat palette is for beauty lovers who prefer warm earthy classic shades. Being a bit more conservative with my makeup this is my favourite of the two palettes.

It contains a purr-fect variety of shimmer and matte shades and is a palette I could happily use every day!

These limited edition Katy Kat palettes don’t appear to be listed online yet, although the Katy Kat Mascara in both Very Black and Perry Blue and the Katy Kat Matte Lipsticks in all 9 shades are available to buy online now. To buy the palettes you will need to go in store at Priceline.
