The L’Oreal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld makeup collection has now landed in Priceline stores Australia wide and is an absolutely stunning collection combining Parisian elegance with rock chic style. I was super excited to receive this collection upon it’s release enabling me to write this Loreal Karl Lagerfeld review for you.
Karl Lagerfeld was an icon of the fashion world and was best known as the creative director of Chanel, whilst also working with Fendi and his own fashion label.
This makeup collaboration with L’Oreal Paris was one of the last collaborations he worked on prior to his passing on 19 February 2019.

Loreal Karl Lagerfeld Lipstick Review
The six richly pigmented shades of lipstick in the Karl Lagerfeld x L’Oreal Paris lipstick collection are from left to right in the photo below:
- ProvoKative
- Kontemporary
- Karismatic
- Kultured
- Kontrasted, &
- IroniK.
The colours are luxuriously rich reflecting the Parisian chic aesthetic that Karl Lagerfeld is renowned for.
I found these creamy lipsticks to glide on comfortably and be ultra hydrating on my lips. They are also long lasting. I managed to get through a whole evening of European cheese and wine tasting wearing the stunning red ProvoKative shade without needing to reapply my lipstick!
These lipsticks contain nourishing ingredients including Omega 3, Vitamin E and Argan oil so it is no wonder they are so moisturising and left my lips feeling soft, smooth and conditioned.
Every other Loreal Karl Lagerfeld lipstick review i have read has been similarly positive.

L’Oreal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld Highlighter Palette Review
Just look at how gorgeous the L’Oreal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld Highlighter Palette is! It is so swoon-worthy!
Both the light golden highlighter and the darker bronzey gold highlighting shade add a stunning glow to your face. When the light catches these illuminating shades they look even more amazing!
This is my favourite item in the collection. I am completely mesmerised by it!

L’Oreal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld Eyeliner Review
The two shades of L’Oreal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld eyeliner are:
- Rock Blue Black, &
- Chic Rose Silver.
These two felt-tipped eyeliner shades celebrate the Parisian chic aesthetic of Karl Lagerfeld and add a definite rock chic edge to your makeup look.
They have a textured grip and a shorter stem enabling a more controlled and precise application.
I love the intensity of matte colour they provide in only one stroke and the fact that they are smudge-proof.

Loreal Karl Lagerfeld Mascara Review
The L’Oreal x Karl Lagerfeld black mascara is also perfect for achieving that rock chic look.
The formula of this mascara volumises your lashes quickly, building your eyelashes into a full and dramatic look with one application.
It applies smoothly and evenly, resulting in a flake-free, smudge-free and clump-free look.
Sensitive eyed gals will be happy to hear that according to several other Loreal Karl Lagerfeld mascara reviews that I have read this mascara is reportedly suitable for sensitive eyes and for contact lens wearers although not falling into these categories myself I can’t comment on these claims.

L’Oreal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld Eyeshadow Palette Review
Last but definitely not least is the beautiful and timeless L’Oreal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld Eyeshadow Palette.
The nine pigmented shades in this palette are an amazing celebration of Karl Lagerfeld’s Parisian-chic aesthetic. They include a mixture of warm and cool, matte and shimmer shades, and are the perfect combination of shades for creating endless party season looks.
The shadows are soft in texture and easily blendable with a rich pigmentation.

You’re game wearing red lipstick to a cheese and wine night! Although I think it’s just me that smears their lipstick everywhere when eating. I love the sound of these and the shades are gorgeous!
