The L’Oreal Infallible range as it’s commonly know, or the Infaillable range if you want the technically correct spelling, includes four skin correcting primers. I was grateful to receive PR samples of these primers enabling me to share these L’Oreal Primer Reviews Infallible Range with you.
These primers are amazing! They transform your skin in an instant. They are formulated to correct, perfect and extend your makeup wear.
Infallible and infaillable both mean always effective and never failing. Synonyms of infallible include flawless, perfect, dependable, trustworthy, reliable, tried and tested, and foolproof. This is an accurate summation of these primers and thus infallible is a very apt name for them.
L’Oreal Infallible Range Of Primers
The four L’Oreal Paris Infallible primers I received included the L’Oreal Infallible:
This article reviews these four primers and is aimed at helping you choose the right L’Oreal Infallible primer, or primers, for your needs.
First let’s look at what a primer is and why we should use one.
What Is A Primer?
A primer is an essential step in your makeup routine for creating a flawless and smooth base for your makeup and ensuring your makeup lasts a lot longer than it otherwise would.
Some primers go an extra step too. Depending on the type of primer you use it can also combat your’s skin’s shine, redness or pore size, or add a beautiful luminous glow to your skin.
L’Oreal Infallible Primers all have a specific extra function.
L’Oreal Infallible Luminizing Primer Review
This L’Oreal illuminating primer is gorgeous! And I have to admit that I also love it’s silver holographic packaging. With this packaging there is no mistaking which the L’Oreal Luminizing Primer is!
The beautiful pearl pigments of the L’Oreal Luminizing Primer are formulated to enhance the complexion for a luminous, glowing look. Just look at the beautiful pearly glow of this formula!
I found this Luminizing Primer instantly added a stunning glow to my skin. Don’t be alarmed at how ‘glowy’ this primer looks in these photos! Remember you will be spreading out the primer and applying foundation over the top of it. When you do, this luminizing primer results in just the right amount of beautiful glow.
This Infallible luminizing primer is definitely my favourite primer out of the four I reviewed. It adds such a perfect youthful luminous glow to my skin.
Although this primer would be suitable for any age group of beauty lover, it is perfect for those with more mature skin like mine that have started losing some of their skin’s natural glow.
Similar to multi-masking I multi-prime. I use the L’Oreal Luminizing Primer on areas of my face where I want to glow, especially on my cheekbones.
Bonus tip: You can also use this luminizing primer on your collar bones in Summer when wearing off the shoulder tops to highlight this area. It looks amazing used in this way!

L’Oreal Infallible Anti Redness Primer Review
This L’Oreal Anti Redness Primer is my other favourite primer out of these four Infallible primers.
The green pigments of this primer neutralises red tones to create a smooth even skin tone.
As you can see from the following photo this L’Oreal Infallible Primer is very runny but it is easy to spread out on your face and apply where needed.
My L’Oreal green primer review concurs with other reviews of this primer I have read in that I found it to work really effectively in neutralising the redness on my face, mainly on my nose. After applying this L’Oreal Anti Redness Primer and then my foundation, the redness on my nose was no longer visible and my makeup lasted all day with no need for any foundation touch ups.
Like I mentioned above I multi-prime with these various L’Oreal Infallible Primers using each one in the area where I most need it’s special function.
If you have any unwanted redness on your face that remains visible through your foundation I highly recommend this L’Oreal Paris Infallible Anti Redness Primer.

L’Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer Review
This L’Oreal Mattifying Primer absorbs excess sebum and oil for an instant matte complexion.
As my skin is more mature I don’t have a lot of excess sebum and oil for this primer to absorb, so I’ve given this L’Oreal Infallible Matte Primer to my teenage daughter to use. She is so happy with how effective it is. It removes all the unwanted shine from her t-zone and makes her skin look smoother as well. The other huge benefit that my daughter has found using this primer is that her makeup now stays in place so much longer with fewer touch ups required.
This primer also minimised the appearance of my daughter’s pores.
It’s lucky that my daughter and I have such different primer needs as I don’t think I could get this L’Oreal Infallible Matte primer back from her if I tried she loves it so much!

How To Use L’Oreal Primer
Lots of people ask whether they should use their primer before or after moisturiser. Primer should be applied after moisturiser and before makeup.
I have been using the different L’Oreal Infallible primers to multi-prime, similar to how you would multi-mask. It’s a wonderful way to address specific skin concerns on different areas of your face.
