What better treat for a beauty lover than a recurring monthly beauty subscription box delivered to their door each month. It is something that will definitely make them smile each month.
Lumi Box is an Australian beauty subscription service that offers two different beauty subscription box options, a Lumi Box Base Box and a Lumi Box Premium Box.
Each box contains a mix of full sized makeup, skincare, body care, haircare and tools with the Lumi Box Base Box containing at least 5 full sized beauty products worth a minimum of $130 up to $250 in value and the Lumi Box Premium Box containing at least 7 full sized beauty items worth over $250 and up to $400 in total.
Each month there is also a theme for these boxes. A recent example of this is the “Who Runs The World?” theme where Lumi Box supported only female owned and female run businesses in their boxes that month.
The selection of products in the Base Box and Premium Box subscriptions are different so you could subscribe to both boxes without receiving any double ups of items.
All subscribers get exclusive access to the Lumi Box monthly pop up store where they can shop brand name products at up to 80% off.
When you subscribe to the Lumi Box Premium Box you are asked to complete a beauty quiz where you can select whether you are makeup lover, skincare lover or a lover of both. Lumi Box will use this information to curate your boxes to best suit your preference.

Any product that makes me glow in a flash is a winner for me. This mask stick brightens, hydrates and evens skin tone for a luminous complexion. Milk Makeup is a fabulous brand and I love this mask!
BellaPierre HD Finishing Powder (Translucent)
This is a high end impossibly smooth, mica-based powder that mattifies and sets makeup in place providing a silky, shine-free finish. I love the overall long lasting airbrushed finish it creates. Being translucent it suits everyone.
Lurella Cosmetics Rockin’ Moroccan Palette
The Rockin’ Moroccan Palette is absolutely stunning! Containing 25 longwearing shades ranging from vibrant mattes to high shine shimmers you can create so many different glam looks with this palette. The shades are all rich and velvety and stay put all night!
Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick in Christine
This lipstick feels soft and light weight on the lips with great high colour pigmentation. Enriched with emollients it’s also wonderfully nourishing on the lips. The Christine shade is lovely and would suit most people.
Gorgeous Cosmetics Lip Liner in Barely There
The Barely There shade of lip liner compliments the Christine shade of lipstick beautifully. It has a gentle formula that glides on easily and wears evenly with your lipstick.
Studio Makeup Endurance Cream Eyeshadow
This eyeshadow is completely swoon worthy with it’s gorgeous shimmer and shine. I absolutely love it’s lightweight decadent formula that enables you to apply a sheer layer for a soft and radiant daytime appearance or layer it for a more dramatic night time shine.
Eco Tools Mask Remover Sponges
These Eco Tools Mask Remover Sponges are premium, spa-quality sponges made from natural plant pulp to remove facial masks and exfoliate for cleaner, softer looking skin. I always need new sponges so this was a welcome addition in this subscription box.

Laura Geller Blush-N-Brighten in Tropic Hues
This is the hero product for me in the April Lumi Box Base Box. Laura Geller baked blushes are amazing! They are made by Italian artisans, starting as a cream baked for 24 hours on a terracotta tile then hand finished resulting in a smooth, long wearing formula. The Tropic Hues shade is absolutely gorgeous!
Lurella Cosmetics Liquid Eyeshadow
I love metallic eyeshadows and this Rose Quartz shade is my new favourite! It has a lightweight formula so it blends seamlessly and sets quickly. As well as using this as an eyeshadow, I’ve also been using this on my cheekbones to add an extra dewy glow.
Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood facial oil
This limited edition facial oil is packed full of vitamins, minerals, essential oils and botanical extracts working together to rejuvenate, renew and protect skin, making it look brighter with a more even skin tone. Rich in antioxidants and moisturising properties this is the perfect oil for the cooler months of the year.
Garbo & Kelly Femme Fatale Duo Eyeliner
The Garbo & Kelly Femme Fatale Dual Eyeliner is a dual ended eyeliner pen that offers precise control and strong definition. One end is a thin felt-tipped liquid eyeliner while the other is retractable and refillable creamy eyeliner pencil. this is such a perfect addition to my makeup bag.
KAB Charming Lip Set
This KAB lip set is so charming! This gorgeous limited edition set consists of a new gel liner formula that glides on perfectly, paired with a new rosy red undertone gloss.
Conclusion
Overall I found the contents of my Lumi Box Base Box and Lumi Box Premium Box to be high quality and extremely useable. There are several items in these boxes I’m super excited to start using such as the Laura Gellar Blush and Milk Watermelon Brightening Mask but to be honest I loved each and every item in both boxes.
Based on the variety and quality of items in both of these boxes I received I am happy to highly recommend both Lumi Box beauty subscriptions to beauty lovers looking for a new beauty subscription box. Choosing which box to get will come down to what your budget is.
