What better treat for a beauty lover than a recurring monthly beauty subscription box delivered to their door each month. It is something that will definitely make them smile each month.

Lumi Box is a new Australian beauty subscription service that offers two different beauty subscription box options, a mystery base box and a mystery premium box.

Each box contains a mix of full sized makeup, skincare, haircare, jewellery and lifestyle items with the base box containing 5 items worth over $130 in total and the premium box containing 7 items worth over $250 in total.

The selection of products in the two different subscriptions are different so you could subscribe to both boxes without receiving any double ups of items.

When you subscribe to Lumi Box you are asked to complete a beauty quiz. This enables Lumi Box to cater for your beauty preferences in the items they provide you with in your boxes. For example they may make your box more skincare focused or more makeup focused etc.

Following is a review of my November Lumi Mystery Premium Box and the items I received in it.

Byroe Tomato Serum

The highlight of the box was definitely the Byroe Tomato Serum, a highly concentrated, high-end powerful anti-ageing treatment that I have immediately included in my skincare routine.

Australis Cheeky Tint Cream Blush

I was happy to receive the Australis blush in the shade Provactive, a flattering and pretty pink shade. This blush is creamy and soft to apply. It blends out nicely for a natural flush of colour and is also buildable. It’s a shade that would suit most people.

R&R Earrings

I am not familiar with this brand of earrings but they are stylish, well made and will look amazing with a variety of different outfits.

Slick Stick

Slick Stick is a product I was very excited to receive. It is an innovative anti flyaway hair wand. I wear my hair up in either a bun or ponytail for work and my struggle to deal with crazy flyaway baby hairs is real. Slick Stick is amazing and allows me to slick back those baby hairs in seconds without using bobby pins, hair spray or gel. It holds your hair in place all day and doesn’t leave your hair hard or wirey.

Basic Beauty Single Shadow

I received the Basic Beauty Single Shade in Fake n’ Bake, a lovely neutral shade that I love and would suit most people. I was happy to receive such a useable shade of eyeshadow.

Inglot Soft Sparkler Face Eyes Body Highlighter

I am obsessed with highlighters and this highlighter is absolutely swoon worthy gorgeous! It will definitely be getting a workout in the upcoming warmer months of this year. I love it!

Maybelline Baby Lips Crayon Balm

This vibrant Maybelline Baby Lips Crayon Balm is comfortable and hydrating to wear just like a lip balm but is also pigmented like a lipstick. I was happy to discover this product in  my Lumi Mystery Premium Box.

Overall I found all the contents of my Lumi Mystery Premium box to be good quality and extremely useable. The stand out item was definitely the expensive, high end Byroe Tomato Serum but I was also super excited about several of the other items and happy with everything.

Based on the variety and quality of items in this box I received I am happy to highly recommend Lumi Box beauty subscriptions to beauty lovers looking for a new beauty subscription box.
