NYX Professional Makeup is such a good quality drugstore makeup brand. It is my go to beauty brand each season for picking up the latest on trend makeup items. I was thus super excited to recently receive some new release NYX Professional Makeup items enabling me to write these NYX Professional Makeup reviews for you.

The items I received include the:

NYX Lip Lingerie Push-Up Long Lasting Lipstick Review

I was excited to receive 6 of the new NYX Lip Lingerie Push-Up Long Lasting Lipsticks enabling me to write this NYX Professional Makeup lipstick review of them for you.

The 6 shades I received, photographed below in the same order from top to bottom, are:

• Teddy
• Corset
• Bedtime Flirt
• Push-Up
• Lace Detail, &
• Embelishment.

I found these gorgeous matte lipsticks to be super pigmented and opaque. They glided on comfortably and didn’t feel at all drying on my lips. If you have dry lips to begin with you can wear a lip balm underneath these lipsticks and the lipstick will still appear matte. They did have a good longevity and wore off evenly.

I love the packaging of these lipsticks. They come in a long sleek tube with the colour of the cap indicating the shade of the lipstick making it easy to quickly find the shade you are looking for without having to read the labels or open each lipstick in turn.

What I love the most about the packaging of these lipsticks is the precise retractable tip of the lipstick which makes achieving a precise line easy. There is also a built in sharpener at the base of the lipstick which is a genius addition to these lipsticks. You will never have that struggle searching for a suitable sized sharpener for these lipsticks.

These lipsticks are formulated with the NYX Professional Makeup gentle plumping complex to provide the ‘push-up’ action to your lips. When I applied these lipsticks I experienced a pleasant cooling and tingling minty sensation on my lips and my lips did appear to plump up a little bit.

I will happily continue wearing these NYX Lip Lingerie Push-Up Long Lasting Lipsticks on high rotation.They are such beautiful and comfortable lipsticks to wear.

NYX California Beamin’ Review

I also received the jumbo sized NYX California Beamin’ bronzer. This is a stunning soft creamy pressed powder bronzer. I received it in the shade Free Spirit.

This bronzer is super pigmented and my brush picks up a lot of product with each swipe. My recommendation is to go lightly to begin with.

I find this bronzer blends well and applies beautifully. It contains a finely milled shimmer, and as you can see from the photo below it results in a very glowy bronzer finish. This swatch was not blended out at all. If you prefer a matte finish bronzer then this is not the bronzer for you.

This bronzer gives a glow-riously sunkissed finish to your skin. It is called California Beamin’ for good reason. This NYX Califonia Beamin’ bronzer will be perfect to use in Summer when I love having an added shimmer and glow to my face and body.

NYX Sweet Cheeks Reviews Matte & Glow

I love applying blush and was excited to receive both the NYX Sweet Cheeks Matte Creamy Powder Blush in the shade Bang Bang and the NYX Sweet Cheeks Glow Creamy Powder Blush in the shade Summer Breeze.

The formula of both the matte and glow versions of this blush are a creamy powder that is super smooth and soft. They are both easy to blend and apply, and are highly pigmented resulting a flawlessly flushed gorgeous look.

Personally I prefer the matte finish as I found it gave me a more natural looking flush of colour and was more flattering on my mature skin. The glow finish slightly emphasised the texture of my skin which the matte finish didn’t do. You can see what I mean in the swatch photo below.

My daughter however prefers the glow version of this blush with its stunning shimmering finish creating a part blush, part highlight effect on her cheeks. Which you prefer really does depend on the finish you are wanting.

The pans of these blushes are a very decent size and the casing closes securely. There are three shades available of both the matte and glow versions of these blushes.

NYX Filler Instinct Plumping Lip Polish Review

These NYX Filler Instinct Plumping Lip Polishes come in super cute packaging. I love the gold lips and words on the white lid. I also love that the tubing is see-through so you can clearly and easily see the shade of each polish and how much you have left in the tube.
